Too Much Violence

You know it’s a terrible thing when you turn on the television and hear that 5 people have been shot for no apparent reason. What is going on these days? We have to do something about this. We need more violence prevention and intervention programs. We need some more community centers for our children. We need The Cure Today!

Every one wants to point the blame at someone for the increase in violence. The truth is that it is everyones responsiblity to help our youth take peaceful alternatives. If we are not a part of the solution we are part of the problem. It’s time we wake up. FOR REAL!!!

I’m very concerned about the violence in our community. I’m almost afraid to send my child to school in fear that he may not return. What is a parent like me to do? I mean I feel trapped because of this violence. What’s worse is that my son’s school won’t adopt a nonviolence program. Does the school district care about our children? We need more alternatives and we need The Cure like yesterday but especially Today! I wish my son’s school would wake up and get The Cure Today!
